These terms apply to the LinkRoom desktop app and this website. By using LinkRoom you agree to them.
The service
LinkRoom is a desktop app for chatting with custom characters using an AI subscription you already have. LinkRoom is an independent product and is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other AI provider.
Your AI account
You connect your own AI provider account and are responsible for keeping it in good standing and following that provider's terms of use.
Subscription and billing
LinkRoom is a paid subscription with a free trial. Prices are shown in the pricing section before checkout, and payment is processed by our payment processor. One subscription can be used on a limited number of your own devices. Refunds are handled according to the Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use LinkRoom for illegal activity, don't attempt to bypass the license system, and don't redistribute or resell the app.
Your content
Your characters and conversations belong to you and stay on your device. We claim no rights over them.
Disclaimer
LinkRoom is provided "as is". Chat responses are generated by third-party AI models, and we are not responsible for their content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for LinkRoom in the last 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
